As sad as it is to leave Bactria, it is time to go home. It's so crazy that we were able to do all of this in less than a 7 months! Ten months to be exact! I feel very fortunate to be able to go and travel all around the silk road considering how not many women are allowed to this without their husbands or some sort of male. From this, I was able to learn the trading system, different types of spices used in many different cities, and even the geography of the silk road. I was able to understand the cultures of different people and know what it is like to have the religion, Buddhism. The whole gang (which included Edha, her husband, and mine) are now able to appreciate how great our life is. For now, we won’t need to worry about land of food. Because I am not really allowed to own land or trade very much, I am glad that my husband let me come with him to explore the world. Seeing completely different people was so exciting! It was even more exciting that I was able to sell a lot of my silk scarves to women and kids. They were so happy to see my styles and my scarves. Here are some picture of the scarves I sold!
